Intensive English Program
Admission – Students are welcome to join at any time. Prospective students are asked to apply at least one month before their preferred entry date.
Course Content - The Intensive English Program is designed for those who already have a foundation in English through prior study. Classes are held for five hours per day and are taught by experienced teachers who are native English speakers. OSULA limits class size to a maximum of 15 students per class. The 12-month basic course consists of six levels. The length of time necessary to complete these levels may vary, depending on a student's entry score and progress rate.
Placement Test - Students will be given a placement test upon entering the program. Placement test results determine the appropriate learning level for each student. Due to the fast pace of this program, only students with some previous English language study or skills will be accepted.
Activities - Every month our students and teachers go on a organized field trip to the most interesting and exciting places in Los Angeles. Always a great experience!
Further Study - For students interested in furthering their studies in the U.S., OSULA maintains a working relationship with a number of American colleges and universities in the Los Angeles area and throughout the country.
