Q:How much is tuition?

Q:Where do OSULA students come from?
A:Our current enrolled student are 18% from Europe, 43% from Asia, 36% from South America, and 3% from Middle Eastern or Africa.
Q:Can I transfer to college after OSULA to proceed my study in the US?
A:After you complete level 6 in OSULA, you are able to transfer to Pasadena City College or Glendale Community College without takeing TOEFL test.
Q:How much is required for financial responsibility?
A:We require $5,500 for 3 months. It covers 3 months tuiton, dormitory housing, and living expenses.
Q:What is the age limit to study at OSULA?
A:For ESL course, student has to be 16 years old.
Q:How do I pay for my classes?
A:We take deposit in OSULA accunt by wire-transfer, credit card (Visa or Master), cash or check.
Q:Can I join the school in the middle of the session?
A:Yes, we accept student's enrollment anytime during session. OSULA prorate the payment according to your study of length.
Q:Does OSULA provide health insurance?
A:No. We require students from other countries to have a traveler's insurance before leaving the country.

Q:Is the dormitory fee cheaper if I share the room with my friend?
A:No. The dormitory fee is charged per person, not per room. Double occupancy and single occupancy are the same price.
Q:Do you have a cafeteria in the dorm?
A:No. We have a brand new shared kitchen in Annex building. Students who stay in the dormitory usually cook their own meals at our kitchen. Students have to have their own pots, pans, and other equipments.
Q:Is internet available in the dormitory?
A:Yes. We have free wireless internet.
Q:Is the dorm safe?
A:We assign the security guard and cover surveillance cameras. However, students should care money and the valuables at any time. OSULA shall not be responsible or liiable for the loss of, or damage to, any of students' personal property from any cause whatsoever.
Q:Can I share the room with my boyfriend/girlfriend?
A:No. Our dormitory has two separate floors for males and females.
Q:What items must I provide?
A:We provide towels, bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets/bedspreads, laundry basket. We suggest you bring almost anything that will make you feel at home in your room.
Q:May I have visitors?
A:Visitor hours are from 9 am to 9 pm. Visitors are prohibited to stay overnight.
Q:How much should I bring?
A:We strongly recommend to open a bank account as soon as you arrive at OSULA. The nearest banks are Bank of America, Union Bank, Chase, and Wells Fargo Bank. Students should not carry or leave money and any valuables in their rooms since OSULA shall not be responsible or liable for the loos of, or damage to, any of students' personal property from any cause whatsoever. If you would like to bring money with you, we recommend to make travelers check or bring credit cards.
